Nomad City

Nomad City is an open-air ethno complex located near the Ushkonyr Plateau, about an hour’s drive from Almaty. Originally built as a movie set, it has become a living museum of nomadic culture. Guests can walk among traditional yurts, watch horseback performances, try archery, and enjoy authentic Kazakh food in a scenic steppe setting. It’s both a cultural attraction and a cinematic experience.
