Medeu Skating Rink

Medeu is the world’s highest outdoor speed skating rink, located in a mountain valley 15 km from Almaty at an altitude of 1,691 meters. Built in 1972, it became famous for setting multiple world records. Today, it’s a popular destination for skating, concerts, and mountain walks, surrounded by scenic views and fresh alpine air.
