Kayrak Waterfall is the largest and most impressive waterfall in Turgen Gorge, about 90 km east of Almaty. Formed by the Bozgul River cutting through rock layers, it drops from a height of nearly 30 meters into a forested canyon. The trail to the waterfall is about 8 km long, passing through pine woods and river crossings — a rewarding hike for nature lovers.
