Issyk Lake — formed about 8,000 years ago, located 70 km from Almaty in the Issyk Gorge of Zailiisky Alatau. The turquoise lake, surrounded by mountains, is known for its beauty and changing colors throughout the day.

Bear Waterfall — located in Turgen Gorge, 70 km from Almaty, in Ile-Alatau National Park. Among seven waterfalls, the Bear Falls are the most popular. The trail passes a bubbling river, small bridges, and mountain forests rich with herbs and flowers.
