The Central State Museum of Kazakhstan is one of the largest museums in Central Asia, located in the heart of Almaty. Its vast collection covers the country’s history from ancient times to the present day — including archaeological finds, ethnographic artifacts, and cultural treasures. The museum offers a clear, structured look at Kazakhstan’s heritage and national identity.
Opening hours: Monday, Wednesday–Sunday, 09:00 – 18:00. Closed on Tuesdays.
