28 Panfilov Guardsmen Park

The 28 Panfilov Guardsmen Park is one of Almaty’s oldest and most iconic public parks, located in the city center. It was named in honor of Soviet soldiers who defended Moscow during World War II. The park is home to the Ascension Cathedral, the Eternal Flame memorial, and peaceful tree-lined alleys — a place for both reflection and leisure.
